In the process of planning the food, I found your menu blog. When looking through your plan, I noticed you went to Southport. I had to read the blog to confirm you were in the town in which I grew up! So exciting. Needless to say, now I want to camp at the State Park at Carolina Beach. Also, I am nervous about the rain when we go in a few weeks. Any rainy day camping tips are appreciated.

I like how you made it a learning experience at down times. I homeschool too! We will embark on our first beach camping this summer! So excited!! Was looking for ideas.
