Oh, I am so sorry you had to go through that. I know God will continue to heal you. The wait for friendship can be a hard one, and once hurt, it can be difficult to want to try again. Thankfully, we can trust that God will supply all our needs even while it seems like we are in a community desert. I hope that you find a few good friends soon!

Sadly I tried this once & God is still healing me from the hurt of opening up to a young woman who made it her business to pry open many of the deepest parts of me with no desire (or perhaps ability) to reciprocate. I am still waiting for the season will God will bless me with authentic women to connect & fellowship with.
