Hey Lisa, I'm curious how you guys do your read aloud time. When does it happen? How long? Does everyone sit still and listen? etc. Just trying to get some ideas, especially with two now and wanting to move into more stories and less board books.

Thrift stores are the best! stores are the best! When I called my mom last night to tell her that we're having a boy (we had an ultrasound yesterday early evening), one of the first things she said was "I'm going to keep my eyes open at Goodwill!" (Though I had to promptly tell her not to overdo it, since a family has already volunteered their stash of baby boy clothes to us). I'm still early enough that I'm not in maternity clothes, but I still snagged an 80 cent Motherhood Maternity brand shirt at a thrift store!

Those cookies look awesome. Food is so good! Popcorn! I was so excited to find out that popcorn is a really good food to eat during pregnancy, so I almost always have a bag of popcorn in my purse or on the table now :) I was recently gifted with "Nourishing Traditions," by Sally Fallon, so I've been trying out different recipes from that book. This week was lentil salad over rice, which was pretty tasty (cooked lentils mixed with grated carrots, olive oil, dijon mustard, and a splash of white wine).
