I’m joining thousands of bloggers along with the Nester in a 31 day writing challenge. Everyday for the month of October, I’ll be sharing a new tutorial, recipe, round-up, or something else related to all things handmade for Christmas!

(Okay, I lied. I’m taking Sundays off. But that just means you will have more time to plan your crafts or to read all the other fabulous writers participating in this 31 day challenge).

Why write about handmade gifts? You can read a little more about that here. But it really boils down to the fact that I love making gifts for people and chances are you do too. It’s not just a saving money thing. I truly believe that gifts made by the giver are gifts of time, intention, and special regard.

So start thinking about who you can bless with a gift and read along to see the new gift ideas everyday. And feel free to send any extra handmade scarves or cookies my way. I won’t turn them down.
