It’s Launch Week!!!

It looks a little different around here and I am so excited! (Please don’t ask how my house currently looks, y’all. The important thing is how BEAUTIFUL the blog is!

This redesign has been a long time coming and the wait is finally over! 

I really want you to just look around for yourself and see what’s new, but I want to make sure you know about a few key details that are going to be the most helpful for you!

  • The new RECIPE INDEX. Better organization and easier navigation of my recipes was top priority in the new design! Now everything is streamlined, up to date, AND you can easily filter the recipes using specific criteria to help you find exactly what you’re looking for.
  • The FREE RESOURCE LIBRARY. Another exciting feature of the new site is the free resource library. I have so many printables on the blog, but they haven’t always been easy to find again after I share them the first time. Now, you will have quick and easy access so you can get what you need when you need it! (This should be up and ready later this week. Stay tuned).
  • A new SHOP! Again, this has also been a priority for me to have a place to offer more products that will bring value to your lives. Currently, there are several t-shirts, an e-cookbook with ten essential weeknight meals and new practical tips, and the Seasonal Meal Plans.
  • Easier to find and BETTER CURATED TOPICS. I narrowed down the menu on the blog a bit to contain the primary focuses: Real Food Recipes, Kitchen Tips, Family Life, Natural Living & Homemaking. Click on the menu tabs to find lots of inspiration and tips!

In addition to the new blog design, shop, resource library, etc, we are also launching a brand new YouTube channel today too! We have been talking about doing this for well over a year and we are all really excited to finally be taking the plunge!

MJ Adventuring (named after the first letters in my kids’ names) is our family outdoor channel. In my husband’s words:

It is with excitement that we are finally able to announce the launch of our newest family endeavor: MJ Adventuring.
Many of you have come to know and love the work Lisa does at This Pilgrim Life and all of the amazing content she creates over there. The goal of MJ Adventuring is to further our mission of drawing families together, cultivating a love for the outdoors, and restoring a sense of wonder in the hearts and minds of both children and parents alike.
Join us as we explore the wonderful world around us through camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, and whatever other ‘adventures’ come our way.
And remember, “Never be within doors when you can rightly be without.” (-Charlotte Mason)

We will be celebrating launch week and all our excitement for the future, everyday this week with new posts, YouTube videos, and DAILY GIVEAWAYS!!!

  12. The new layout looks great! I first started following you on Facebook for instant pot recipes and then found out you are also homeschooling. This is our second year! We have one in 1st grade, one in preschool and two other younger ones. It’s much easier to find the topics I’m looking for!
